2–4 players share this phone or laptop, taking turns. Trivia runs turn-based so the buzzer never favors one seat — fair for everyone.
Remote invite-link play — each person on their own device — needs a small backend to host the room and sync buzzers in real time. This build runs fully offline as a single file, so live rooms aren't wired up here yet. It's the natural next step on the PHP/JSON stack.
Beat your rivals across a board of trivia, word puzzles and mini-games. Highest score after the Final wins.
On your turn, pick a tile. Its color tells you what's inside:
Gold = trivia buzz-in · Cyan = word puzzle · Magenta = Daily Double (wager) · Violet = mini-game · Green = power-up.
Everyone races to buzz. Hit BUZZ before the bar runs out, then answer. Right = points + you keep the board. Wrong = you lose the points and rivals can steal. Tip: you can read along while the question appears, but the buzzer only unlocks once it finishes.
Take turns guessing letters — a correct letter reveals it and you go again. Solve the whole phrase for a big bonus. Mini-games (scramble, missing vowels, fill the blanks) are scored on speed: the faster you solve, the more you score.
Earn and spend them mid-question: 50/50 cuts two wrong answers, Freeze slows rivals' buzzers, 2× doubles the tile, +Time adds seconds. Stuck on a question? A 50/50 is your best friend.
Wager some of your score on one question. Bet big to catch the leader — or play it safe. Only you answer a Daily Double; everyone answers the Final at once.
